Work Experience

I am a Registered Nurse, having earned my CPN in 2008 and my ADN in 2009. My clinical background includes experience as a floor nurse and home care nurse, as well as serving as the unit manager of a 40-bed rehabilitation unit, where I developed strong leadership, organizational, and team-management skills that continue to inform my work in academic program leadership.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education, which supported my transition into nursing education and academic leadership. For 11 years, I served as Co-Director of the Wicomico County CTE Health Occupations program, where I provided program oversight, led curriculum development and planning, coordinated clinical experiences, and mentored students pursuing healthcare careers.

Currently, I serve as the Nursing Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Nursing at 糖心APP, where I provide academic and operational leadership for both the CPN and ADN nursing programs. In this role, I support faculty, oversee course coordination, assist with curriculum development and implementation, and contribute to the continued growth and quality of both programs. I teach in NUR 101 and NUR 111 and serve as the course coordinator for NUR 101, leading foundational instruction for incoming nursing students and guiding them through the beginning of their professional nursing journey.

My career reflects a deep commitment to quality patient care and excellence in nursing education, with strengths in program leadership, curriculum development, faculty collaboration, and student-centered teaching.
