Wor-Wic offers many financial aid options. Learn how to apply for what you need to fund your education.

There are many options to help you fund your education.聽Applying for funding may take a little bit of time and effort, but our financial aid office is here to help you navigate the process. Remember that all options for financial aid start with completion of the FAFSA. For more information on how to complete it, visit our Financial Aid & Scholarships page.

Federal Pell Grant

Awarded to undergraduate students who have exceptional financial need聽and who have not earned a bachelor鈥檚 or graduate degree
Annual award maximum for 2023-24聽is $7,395
Lifetime eligibility is limited to 12 full-time semesters or the equivalent

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

Awarded to undergraduate students who have exceptional financial need and who have not earned a bachelor鈥檚 or graduate degree
Federal Pell grant recipients receive priority
Annual award maximum for 2023-24聽is $4,000

Federal Work-Study Program

Provides part-time jobs for undergraduate students who are enrolled in college and have financial need聽

Federal Direct Loan Program

Direct Subsidized Loans
- Loans made to eligible undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need聽to help cover the costs of higher education
Direct Unsubsidized Loans
- Loans made to eligible undergraduate students, but the student does not have to demonstrate financial need to be eligible
Direct PLUS Loans
- Loans made to parents of dependent undergraduate students to help pay for educational expenses not covered by other financial aid
