Wor-Wic trains many of the certified nursing assistants, dental assistants, medical coders聽and phlebotomists who work on the Lower Eastern Shore.聽
If you need a license or certification to enter the workforce, or continuing education to maintain your license, we have the courses you need. Many of these courses qualify for financial assistance.
If you are a Maryland resident aged 60 or over and are interested in taking a course, you are eligible for a tuition waiver. Please call us at 410-334-2815 or email non-credit@worwic.edu for your registration link.

Are you an inactive RN or LPN planning to return to the workforce? Take our 鈥淣urse Refresher Clinical Practicum鈥� course approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing. The course follows the completion of an online theory component and includes clinical skills training and a clinical rotation. It is offered only during the fall and spring terms. Start your exciting fitness career by becoming a personal trainer. Our 鈥淧ersonal Trainer National Certification鈥� course can help you earn your certification. This is a hybrid course and offers an additional 30-hour employer internship arranged through the course provider, W.I.T.S, that could lead to a more advanced credential at no additional cost.
